“A very comfortable stay”
Freestyle Resort Port Douglas |
A great place to stay in Port Douglas -
great location, just minutes walk to town
and the beach. We felt so at home in the
comfy apartments. It was great to have
cooking facilities on hand as eating out in
Port Douglas can get a bit expensive over a
long stay.
The highlight of our stay was definitely the
staff - Anne in particular, who was a lovely
host, and extremely helpful in all facets of
our holiday. |

“Very Welcoming”
Freestyle Resort Port Douglas |
| Our stay at Freestyle was lovely, Anne
was really helpful in advising us of trips,
places to eat etc.. the apartment was
spotlessly clean & comfortable. Location is
great 10 mins from everything. It's a small
quiet resort which was really relaxing.
Would definitely stay there again. |

“A great trip!”
Freestyle Resort Port Douglas |
I am an American living in Melbourne. My
family and I have been traveling around
Australia over the past two years.
Researching a place to stay at the reef was
a bit overwhelming due to a lack of
information on the net. I decided to go with
reviews I saw on TripAdvisor and it wasnt
wrong.
There is no way you can go wrong by staying
at the Freestyle Port Douglas. Every amenity
was cared for, you are just a few blocks
from Macrossan Street and two blocks from
the beach. It is a perfect location. We
stayed in a two bedroom apartment with three
adults and two kids. |

“Definitely recommended
!”
Freestyle Resort Port Douglas |
Just had 10 days staying at Freestyle
and it definitely lived up to the rave
reviews I'd read on here. The apartment was
well laid out and sparkling clean and was
serviced twice during my stay.
The televisions were all replaced while I
was there which will probably prove very
popular with people staying during the
Olympics !
Anne and Jason were very hospitable and
helpful and it was so convenient to organise
everything through them and have it itemised
on one bill.
Note that if you want to have sun on your
balcony, you need to ask specifically for
this as most apartments either face South
(over the pool) or are shaded by large
trees. The pool area is lovely and there
always seemed to be plenty of chairs and
hammocks available while I was there. |
