Check out some cuddly Koalas, pythons, crocodiles and feed some kangaroos plus many more animals to see at the Wildlife Habitat. It is a great way for the family to appreciate the number 1 zoo in North Queensland as rated on TripAdvisor. A must for any tourist visiting the area on a holiday or just passing through the area. The zoo is one of the family favourite attractions for the kids to have a great day out. There are four wildlife parks to choose from and tours that operate at different times of the day.

A great way for the family to visit some historical sites and learn about the local history of Port Douglas. Meeting on the first Monday of every month, if you are a history buff this is ideal for you. There are a number of activities to participate in from historic walks to research studies. Alternatively, if you don’t happen to be around for a meet up you can check out the Port Douglas Court House Museum located on Wharf Street beside the Police Station. Open Tuesdays, Thursday, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm.
